So here it is - our final challenge to you of this lockdown.
This weekend, your challenge is to get out and either run 5kms, cycle 15kms or swim 500m.
If you join our Strava club and sign up for this challenge, you will be entered in to our prize draw to win our third and final prize of a 50 CHF voucher for SB Sports
Click the picture below for more details and good luck - enjoy the freedom and the wind (or water) in your hair!)
Let's finish big with the squat challenge led by our very own Captain P!
Thursday has become our Just Dance day - there's some CLASSIC Tina here too if you need your fix.
To get warmed up though, it's time for Coach Veronika's epic star jump dance for our Primary superstars - you'll love it!
How many Zoom calls have you had during lockdown? Surely one more won't hurt!
With things easing off and school looking more and more like how we left it, it's time to bring this blog to a close. We thought we would finish with some of our favourites from the months that are now behind us. Can you still keep up or are you even better now? Time to find out ...
Let's get started with Coach Guillermo and a chair!
There is a super cool event this weekend - let's see how many Kms CDL can run to add to the goal of one million being run across Switzerland! Click on the logo to sign up and join the CDL team. You have all weekend to do this.
You will find all of the info you need on their website. It looks like the best way to track your kms is to use the Datasport app, the links are below.
If you run in France you may need to manually upload how many kms you ran as it is all supposed to be done in Switzerland.
Remember to sign up for our Strava club then get out for a run, bike or swim today.
Once that's done, be sure to send kudos to at least 5 other club members.
Next weekend there will be prizes to be won - get in early!
There have been allegations that some of you have been dancing like nobody's watching every Thursday - I think we have found the alligator! Why not keep up the momentum with some Kung Fu Fighting?
Remember fitness blender? Here they are again with 100 squats for you!
The kids in secondary have a very similar challenge today - I wonder who will be the strongest? If you need to take a break - no problem, but you'll be amazed how quickly you can get back on board!
Every weekend your challenge is to Sworkit more than the last - how long can you keep doing more?
Sworkit can achieve great results - check out the testimonials below!
Now that we can all get out a bit more, it's time to talk about Strava.
Strava is a brilliant platform that has loads to offer and no ads on its free version.
It is a great way to track what exercise you are doing, see how you are improving and get inspired by others. You can use a smart watch or just your phone. Take it out for a walk, run, cycle or even a swim today.
I have created a club for the CDL community where we can all catch up and encourage each other. This not a place to show off, all exercise will be equally celebrated here!
Our secondary students are joining us for 2 dances today.
Will they agree that the old ones are the best?
Can you keep up with Guillermo and Bring Sally Up?
Are you feeling the pain of yesterday's celebrity workout? Here's Coach Jack to put you back together!
You have no idea how much fun we had making this ;)
If you would like to be in another call, click the link below to upload a video of yourself following along. If we get enough callers, we can make another video for another day!
Good luck - once the kids takes over, only the strong will survive!!!
It's the middle of May already, time to get the summer wardrobe out!
Here's coach Veronika with a super dance workout for you!
Last weekend, I ran the "Wings for life" race. It was brilliant fun and a totally new experience for me.
It gave me the idea to recreate it for this blog, this app is the closest I could find - it looks like fun!
If you can get outside, give it a try and let us know in the comments what you thought of it. If you can't get out, there are workouts for inside on there too!
A popular challenge across the lockdown world has been to succeed in doing 100 skips without any mistakes. If you've got a rope - give it a go. If not, practice by pretending you have a rope and get one next time you are doing the weekly shop.
Soon, you will be just like these guys!
